They were only done yesterday and I've been for a 45min run and over speed humps etc. The front end looks far higher than before. I can fit my whole fist in thereI'm hoping they will settle down but I can't imagine that are going to drop enough. I'm also tempted to say they have sent me the wrong springs however I know it's still early days
Anyone else had the same issue? Can anyone read the serial number on their springs so I can cross check them?

From your pics, something is wrong! Your front should have been lower, not higher. If you look at my earlier post you, you can see what I had in drop with the same car/suspension as yours. I'm at work and can't do the research, but try to compare my part number to yours for the springs. Other than that, it almost looks like you could have springs for the Z4M, which has a heavier engine and would require more spring up front. Those springs with a lighter engine would sit higher. Could also be a difference isn perch height between the M and non-M. As far as the springs on my car, they did not seem to settle any appreciable amount.

think they have been fitted incorrectly to be honest, I'll dig out the receipt for the ones I bought a while ago and see what the serial number was.

I ordered mine from eibach, specified I wanted m springs and was sent the springs for the reguler e 85. Luckily I cheked the serials pre fitting and noticed. It could be theyve sent you the wrong springs...

I've done a quick search on both of the serial numbers. They are the wrong springs. I need to check the rears but I might have got lucky with them.
I can't tell you how angry I am right now. I've just paid good money to have them fitted and I can only begin to think how the conversations going to go on Monday when I call them up and respectfully request they refund the costs of reinstalling them plus my wasted time off work having to ferry the car to and from the garage.

To answer the ride question - less harsh over good-ish surfaces than OEM, harsher over rough or roller coaster surfaces. Must be because they are 'progressive', so the more that's asked of them, the firmer they are. I think
To the OP - that's not ace at all, hope you get it fixed soon. Have you got the right part number now ?
I'd go so far to say that your rear look lower than mine do now. So there's a chance they are wrong too.
I have what I believe to be the part number for the front. Not the rear.
Just a shame I didn't notice before they were fitted. Got to wait until Monday morning to see how this is going to resolve itself.

The springs all have the wrong number on them - they've given you the right box with the wrong springs in them. That's shocking. Tbh the supplier should foot the bill for you having them swapped over... Though they'll probably just say you should have checked the part numbers before fitting

....damn, that looks perfect! I'm doing my best to stop spending money on my car and you have to go and post those pictures :wink: I think I can cope withe the ride on that basis, it transforms the look of the car without being ridiculously low. Thanks for posting
