Lowering m-sport on eibachs

You're welcome

Exactly the same happened to me.... I have resisted aero skirts for 2 1/2 years though

I'll confirm who they came from after I've spoken to them Monday. I can then tell you how good or bad their customer service is. I don't really want to bad mouth them before they have had the opportunity to resolve the issue.

The pictures posted look really good... With the right springs

I've done a quick search on both of the serial numbers. They are the wrong springs. I need to check the rears but I might have got lucky with them.

I can't tell you how angry I am right now. I've just paid good money to have them fitted and I can only begin to think how the conversations going to go on Monday when I call them up and respectfully request they refund the costs of reinstalling them plus my wasted time off work having to ferry the car to and from the garage.

How odd. That serial number is for the E86, but the description is E85 :?

I fitted Eibach Prokit to my '07 E85 2.5Si sport, the serial number was E10-20-010-01-22.

Sorry to jump in on the thread but I'd like to confirm I bought the correct eibach springs for my 2006 si coupe.

These are the ones I ordered. Eibach E10-20-010-05-22

Are they correct?

Depends on the serial numbers on the springs.

I brought the right stuff yet the boxed them up wrong and put the wrong springs in the right box

So these are the right ones?

112001004HA rear

So by the way of an update. The supplier has contacted Eibach and their response... the springs I have been supplied are the correct ones for my car :|

They have asked me to complete a ride height check sheet and send it back to them. Despite me sending photos of me looking like im on stilts!!!

As a reference they have asked me to measure from the centre of the wheel to the top of the wheels arch.

Front Right (OSF) 388mm
Front Left (NSF) 389mm
Rear Right (OSR) 355mm
Rear Left (OSF) 355mm

Ill find out more tomorrow

It's never easy but it sounds like they should realise quite easily that they are wrong.

I had similar to this! Puma Speed went back to Eibach and a load of Coupe springs have been boxed as Roadster discription, you need to go by the part number on the box as apparently these are correct.

Nathan are you after springs for a 3.0 Coupe or M Coupe? The part number in your picture is for 3.0 Coupe, as you may already know.

EDIT - I've just checked your front spring number you have posted, 112000101VA, it's coming back as E46 330d :| You've got me worried now, I will check mine when I get home this afternoon and write down the spring numbers.

Right this could be the numbers you need, I found them on some Russian parts site which Google translated..

E86 Coupe

Front 112001001VA
Rear 112001004HA

I will confirm mine later.

I have a non M.

You've found the same Russian website as me.

The evidence is pretty compelling in my opinion. Spring part number is listed elsewhere as not for this vehicle. They are too high.

If you have been supplied the same part number as me then I suggest you could have the wrong springs also. I take it yours haven't been installed yet? If not could you do me a favour and measure the front springs so I can compare them to the standard ones I have sitting at home.

Yea mine are still in the box, I will make a note of the spring numbers and ill measure them for you this afternoon.

Thanks for confirming, your numbers above match the image another member posted on page 2.

So once my springs have these part numbers they should be fine for my 3.0si coupe?
This is the kit I ordered. Eibach E10-20-010-05-22

Eibach now confirm they have got it wrong and put the wrong springs in the box.

Im in talks about getting my wasted time and fitting costs refunded but the supplier is suggesting that Eibach wont entertain it :x

Just to confirm my numbers are correct...

Front 112001001VA
Rear 112001004HA

Front 24.5cm long
Rear 19cm long

I had an email from Eibach today, the numbers are as I've posted above.

Hope you get it resolved ok mate :headbang:

Correct springs have arrived today.

Booked in for Monday. The supplier has got eibach to refund my fitting cost for the 2nd install. I just need to send my receipt through. Still a pain in the back side but at least I won't be out of pocket.
