Looking to get some Bavarian z4 love (PICTURES FINALLY!)

These were small ones - only about 3 inches wide, and I was round a corner with a car behind me before I could see it and decide to go out the 'in' road. One scraped the visible edge for about 8 inches down the very edge of the skirt :x

Time for aeros I think...

Ah. I'd cry! I've ripped my exhaust off a couple of times, got fed up of that so fitted a race tube for more clearance :D

Anyone know howmuch it costs for the brakes to be done on these?

There car I'm interested in which was posted in here needs 500 spent on brakes apparently but I think it's priced quite high ifso at £6550

deposit paid for a z4 :D

thankyou to nottyash for posting the link to a very nice looking motor which fit everything i wanted and more!

pick it up next saturday, but i cant find temp cover that will cover me with being 22! so my dad i think will have to drive it back for me :headbang:

also did another insurance quote and its dropped to £977! RESULT! could not believe it!

Great stuff! enjoy picking it up(even if dad is driving!) hope it all goes well :)

Hoping I've found a way of insuring for the pick up. Apparently the company your already insured with will temporarily add another car to your policy

ah gav, didn't realise you were already on here.

told you they were a lovely bunch of fella's (and a few tasty females) on here! 8)

and yes, they do temp cover another car on the same policy as your current car. done it for a week when i needed to use my brothers car.

Haha i told you the other day i signed up lol

Are the as good as a few on cs? Or don't we get to see asmuch? Lol

Yeah I thought I was already with admiral but I'm with elephant :/ makes things abit harder

i completely forgot  terrible memory in my old age (24) :(

admiral/elephant are the same company iirc, so should still be fine mate.

the lounge is where the banter seems to go on. theres also been a couple of recent rage quits on here, which is rather comical.

Wouldn't be a good forum without the rage quit attention seekers!
Haha yeah mate your knocking on abit now.

I've always been insured with them both and they price match eachother but I wasn't sure how it would work with me changing car part way through a current policy which is paid in full. Any ideas?

Yeah still got it, selling its parts off then letting it go. It's a 1.0 I bought in 2008 with 3k on the clock. Now on 30k proper perfect little motor

I'm on corsasport. It's a good forum. Most people don't have corsas lol

Cheers :)

The autotrader link is a few pages back if you want to have a peek. Think it's at the top of the 2nd page.
But ill be getting better photos when I've picked it up

It's obligatory to have the roof down driving home, makes the whole experience feel special.

I remember mine.it was 5c and a clear night. I drove 60 miles home on a motorway with my brother/sister. I was absolutely freezing but smiling from ear to ear  was pretty cool looking up and seeing the stars.

I'd be looking up and slowly watching the cabin fill with snow lol
I might do though If its dry. Heated seats on. Although such a long journey might sap fuel abit

Congratulations on your new bride :D

Considering the looks and performance you get with a Z, I think it must be one of the most reasonable cars to insure. My renewal just came out at £520 with protected nc and I'm only 25...I was getting quoted £1k for an s2000 and £650 for a 225 TT.

I've found it really easy to work on too. Plenty of space in the engine bay, most parts can be picked up for reasonable prices, and most importantly lots of forum support!

Enjoy the drive home :driving:
