Basic stage 1 tuning will see just under 400. Stage 2 will see 420+. You can get to 500 without too much pain. The LSD is problematic because you have to replace a lot of parts - it will cost almost £2k, but I think worth it ...
The 35iS is a great car for the money and a real head turner. It won't beat a Cayman around the track, but who cares?
Mine will evolve over the coming years. I will probably get a bigger car to replace my Astra and keep this as a fun project. Not much else ticks all the boxes as this does.
I like the sound of 400bhp! 8)
However, I've read in more than a few reviews that the chassis struggles to handle 340bhp so another 60bhp would sound too much for it?
How real are the issues reported on the road? (I won't track the car) How does it put its power down on surfaces that isn't bone dry?
