Looking at 35is as potential next car

Also a good note to remember about the E89 over the E85 and the M is that it has double joint spring front axle as opposed to the single joint spring front axle on the E85. This makes the vehicle handling very balanced up to the limit of the E89 which by nature gives it very good control properties.

My cabin is a great place to be IMO. No "tinny sound" and snug with Alcantara and leather seats. Only noise I hear is the exhaust and the hi-fi when it's on. Both sound pretty good to me.

Must be a colour thing as I agree. In fact it's so quiet that you have to wind the window down to really appreciate the noise coming from the exhaust. It has to be the colour that makes the difference :lol:

How did you sort the LSD? MFactory quoted me for quite a few other parts. I assume you went through the same process?
 
The LSD was fitted by Bird BMW. After the remap I couldn't drive it. The traction came in as soon as you touched the gas. Fitting the LSD turned it in to a rocket ship. Official figures 0-60 4.16sec in 182ft and 1/4 mile 12.71 118mph.

I am sure you may have mentioned before .. but why did you let it go ?

I have seen Birds about the LSD .. just received a quote for mine, very tempted

He didn't really say but in a recent meet thread he advised he was now in a AM V12 Vantage S in yellow. Nice choice.

Well if you're gonna replace a 35iS you might as well do it with style. I think I may have just ordered the replacement for my 35iS... a BMW S 1000 XR

both cars (35is chipped) have simalar 0 -60 times .. and dare I say the Z4 has better dealer network and reliability .. come on, every one likes a under dog :thumbsup:
