I have some right wing views, but what you said is a little bit scary. If you said that extends to all non uk citizens, whether black or White, then that's another matter.

You could take it one step further and send back anyone who's bloodline isn't 100% English too, or are the scots, welsh and Irish all allowed to stay too, as long as they are White?

Nick,i dont think pvr was reffering to the colour of their skin...more to do with the influx of imigrants who are on low income/benefits,and others in society who have lived here for generations,who feel the country owes them something,because they cant afford to buy "luxuries" like big tv's,etc..idiots. They have no respect for the rest of us,who work hard for a living,but earn what we have.
Its a case of Criminal Scum vs Decent,hard working members of Society..end of.
Its also not a Racial thing,tho it will prob end up being twisted that way....just look at the White and Asian ppl being attacked by scum crims,and also looters of difrnt colours turning on each other,plus the scum who attacked then pretended to help a poor Chinese boy,over here to study.

Get a grip Cameron,stop saying it,and let the police use batton charging,etc,etc..and not just "holding the line",and pushing the rioters away down sidestreets,while they stand around and watch the rioters set cars,etc on fire,and loot freely!! :headbang:

I'm fed up of hearing excuses about this demographic not having enough opportunities. They should be dumped in the middle of Africa/South America , and let them see what growing up without opportunity really means. Makes me sick that they can make such excuses when there are so many people really living in hardship/mortal danger
 
A bit more information about the two men that have been sentenced to 10 weeks and 16 weeks over rioting in Manchester. Jason Ullett, aged 38, was convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and sentenced to 10 weeks. Ricky Gemmell, aged 18, was sentenced to 16 weeks in youth custody.

The sentences are not serious at all. Prisons just don't have spaces for all looters and rioters. :thumbsdown:
 
After looting at charity shops police have issue a description of a man they wish to trace. He has a VHS, likes puzzles, is wearing a wedding dress with a cardigan and is listening to a Leo Sayer LP.

Well said sp3ctre :thumbsup: . On the basis of a few posts made, I was really tempted to wade in with my size 10's for a bit of heated political debate (to be honest a couple of posts really wound me up), I'm glad I didn't now - thanks for putting it in perspective.

Initial indications are it'll be relatively peaceful tonight - let's hope it stays that way. Goodnight all, be safe :)
 
More importantly, we the people are saying this is not acceptable... as last night in Eltham many stood side by side with local shopkeepers of all races... even if some were Millwall fans & members of the EDF... & this resolve is starting to spread. It's us that have as much responsibility to stand together, even if we get hurt, we have too much to loose if we don't.

Hey inkey$.

So far so good - I'm at the north end near Sun-in-the-Sands, I had a wander down towards the Standard around 8.30, it was all clear - walked back along the heath and all was well.

Saw a couple of police cars, one mondeo estate (dog unit) and one standard vauxhall astra. Strange, as the cops are usually passing through, today they were parked up...

I heard some of the Eltham locals were up yesterday, managed to send away any real trouble from what I gather - what's going on tonight?

Have you moved over Eltham way now - or are you still in Blackheath? I cant remember you saying, but I thought you were at the village end? Everything ok where you are?
 
Glad to hear it dude. Heard the standard was a focal point last night. Eltham kicking off on news but quiet here on the heath. Monday night was the worst evening although nowhere near Peckham scale. Stay safe and keep that Zed out of the way!

And therein lies the problem. If those in authority can't see that failing to deliver 100% on their words, they're meaningless & will be laughed at by those that need to change most.

I'd vote for anyone who'd put these scroats in Pink romper suits emblazoned with big Yellow 'P's, all chained together & forced to do community service cleanup, but am sure would infringe their human rights.
 
Saw a disturbing news piece this morning. Two female riot attendees in an interview. When asked if they thought it improper to damage someones business for no apparent reason. They both stated that they felt it was fine in doing such damage. As everything is the fault of rich people. And we are just showing them we can do as we please. Would have been nice if the interviewer would have asked those two if they wanted to be rich themselves (of course they would want to be rich) Then follow up and ask if they think they would then deserve to be treated in the same manner they are treating others.

This is the final result of the liberals idea to blame all rich people for the ills of the world. Looks like the least intelligent among us have taken that idea to heart.

They'll be debating this for months to come, and the politicians have already started to try and score points about it...

The first thing that sparked it was the shooting of a man in Tottenham. Only proper facts to emerge so far are:

It was a planned operation with armed police
A non-police issue firearm was recovered from the scene
It had not been fired
He was shot in the chest and killed

After a police shooting, it is normal procedure to hand the investigation (and liaison with the family) to the IPCC (Independant police complaints comission). This liaison with the family took a long time to begin, the family and friends (and others) demonstrated in Tottenham.

That turned into a riot on Sunday night IIRC, which sparked other riots.

IMHO, the other riots are just a load of people who:

Don't have anything to lose (or look forward to)
Don't think they'll get caught (or don't care)

and have decided to help themselves to all the trainers and lcd televisions they can carry. On one high street, the only shop that wasn't looted was a bookstore...

Thanks Raify... makes a little more sense now. Though riots rarely do make sense. Seems like it's still continuing too. What is the government doing to resolve this issue?

So far, more police on the streets and fast tracking people through the courts (which are open into the wee small hours)

Next will be the blame game and then the administration trying to figure out what to do without spending any money (that they don't have).
