When it happened I was understandably furious. I have a pretty short temper and fly off the handle quite easy, especially when it comes to a car I've owned for little more than a month. After talking to the father I calmed a lot. He clearly can't afford to be paying out £180 to fix my car but has assured me he will pay for the damage. He's been nothing but apologetic, and I'm sure the little girl who done it has learnt a lesson. I know it wasn't done deliberately (unlike the child I caught sitting on my bonnet 2 weeks ago....another story)
Kids will be kids. They are oblivious to their surroundings, and accidents happen. Forgive me for saying this, but it is just a car and can/is going to be fixed so I'm not bothered by it anymore. I've learnt my lesson also. I now park it in a different spot and am in the process of getting a garage. Something I should have done ages ago!
the family is paying . its probably a good idea to make better parking arrangements for the future
