That post pungo suggests is exactly the way I would go about it.
If you take it one step further and not covered by the post the headlight washer units are hydraulically powered so will not rise until they actually start pumping.
Something I think I'll do for Summer when you may need to clean dust off the screen without washing half the car in screen wash
Had a similar problem when i had my S2000, the spray button was on the console between the seats and my elbow would always hit that button :x .Didn't need lights on just ignition, PITA when you'd just polished the car.
Anyone tried this? Remove fuse, or remove pump, or remove both?
I'm paranoid about losing the cover from the pop-up headlamp cleaners - happened on my last car. I don't think they do anything worthwhile anyway, as I always keep my headlamps clean doing it myself.
I removed the fuse the other day as i hate the mess they leave and there is now less chance of me loosing another cover! Fuse is easily marked up doddle of a job!
