Lets see your Watches

Love a bronze watch. I'd like a Panerai Submersible in bronze one day, I'd have to sell a few for that to happen though.
I have an Oris in bronze too, lovely thing, I have enjoyed the transformation a few times now,
a quick brush with lemon juice and they are new again and then watch them transform all over again.Oris 2.jpg

Hi all.

Not long since joined. Thought there’d be a watch page around here somewhere. Didn’t take me too long to find it 😆

Some really nice stuff there, good to see there’s a few with the sickness 😅

A few of my favourites in rotation at the moment…

Sinn 556 A RS, my first ‘big’ purchase.

Grand Seiko SBGX063
IMG_2726.jpeg

Damasko DC56 (Awesome bit of German Engineering 😉)
IMG_1186.jpeg

And last but not least, my most recent purchase late last year and one I just can’t seem to take off at the moment, my Explorer 124270 😍

Another German fan here, as you say an awesome bit of kit.

This is my latest treat, a Seiko 1st Gen Prospex Titanium 'Samurai' Black Dial from 2006 in fantastic condition considering its titanium and its age.

Nice 😎 I’ve never seen another in the wild!

I’ve stopped wearing it as much, just because I was forgetting how awesome it is by wearing it every day. But all of the ice hardened stuff could so easily be a one and done if you were that way inclined.

Really nice. Personally love Ti and some of the Seiko cases are so unlike anything else out there.

Always such good value for money too. Enjoy!

Nothing out there that offers a similar build quality/technology for the price.
I’m on my fourth, so you could say I like them.

Agreed.

Very nice, which other models?

Often come back to the idea of a DS3x or DK3x to go alongside the 556, but haven’t pulled the trigger so far.

I've had a DC47,46 and a DA36 on a bracelet, I regret selling the 36 though as I think it's a stunning watch.

The only brand that comes close for robustness are the tegimented Sinn's but I don't think they warrent the additional price.

Nice.

The bracelets do look really good, I’ve weighed one up for mine a few times but haven’t wanted one enough so far, just works well on straps so I like to change up every now and again.

I like the through hardening of the Damaskos. Not sure why but the risk of egg shelling on the tegimented stuff worries me a bit, even though I’m pretty careful and don’t tend to ding even normal steel.

Mate picked a U50 DS up late last year and it’s a really nice bit of kit. Got me thinking about a T50… 🤔

After selling my Ball Diver recently I found the spare slot in my watch box playing on my mind
Not had a Tudor before , lovely thing

Well the Pro has gone :( a lovely piece of horology but bought "blind" online the 39mm always felt undersized on my wrist & i knew from first wear it wasn't a keeper .

Traded up to this rarity of Tudor watches , a "Grantour Fly Back" on bracelet & couldn't be more pleased with it , its virtually unmarked & already know it will be staying a good while longer than the Black bay did

Felt like wearing my Sideral today.

Something a bit different. Really fun - Every time I wear it, I question why I don’t wear it more often.

Really good value for money, as all Tissots are. The lume never gets boring!

Loving that. Wear in health :D

Any of the watch experts on here care to take a stab at what this would be worth?

Excellent condition with a brand new genuine omega croc strap.

Picked this up recently, cheap but fun, never heard of Aeroluft watches before.

Funny, rarely I'll fork out thousands on a watch but always end up wearing the cheapest most of the time

Take a look at WatchCharts as well - Should give you a good idea of what stuff has actually sold for, not what it was listed at ☺️

Is the bracelet with it.
What year is it
Does it have any service history

If it’s the 2500 movement on TZ that would be circa £2350.

I sold mine it had just been serviced so it looked brand new. full set it was a 2012 I realised £3k
