Cheers bud, my first waffle dial. It looks much better in the flesh than the picture shows

That’s the purchases done for a wee while. Saying that, Kathleen said to me last night that she was still to get me my proper birthday and Xmas present and had I seen any jewellery or watches I like. I said I hadn’t really been looking

Thanks Ed, yes it is nice

Yours is too. It was a toss up between that and the PADI I bought as a daily. There’s nothing wrong with an Xmas present from you to you, that’s what both of mine were

I've had a Tissot PRS200 for over 15 years. It's a great quartz chronograph that I have been very happy with.

I was looking for a mechanical dive watch that would suite my thin wrists. I found this Certina DS Action in 38mm that I've enjoyed for the last year. It's a really solid watch.

I have that same samurai Ed..what strap have you put on that ..is it just a regular Seiko one?

Seems like there's a lot love for Seikos here!

Yep just the one it came with :) I read a few reviews whcih weren't particularly kind about the oe strap but I can't say it's been anything other than a pleasure to wear mine?

Looks fantastic! Love the way the dark shades of gold and red contrast with the black bezel. Glad you took the plunge with this divers :D

Nice - I recently bought a Garmin Instinct Solar to 'inspire' me to get off my chuff more often and get some exercise, but all it's done is stop me from wearing my 'real' watches . I tried wearing one on each wrist (justifying that on one wrist was my watch, and on the other was a fitness tracker) but after a couple of people asked "why are you wearing two watches?" I stopped. I might just use it for activities but I suspect it may end up being a poorly thought out purchase

I have the same problem, now my Seiko SKX009 is stored, and I have my Garmin 24h/7 on my wrist. And mate, I don't care, I love my Garmin. I only put my Seiko on when I have TV appearance (I am often on TV), so it can match my styling. Other than that, Garmin all the way! :)

My Oris Skeletor Artellis watch. Bought in memory of my grand mother with money she left me. I broke it a couple of years ago and with the covid senario and belief it would potentially have to go back to the factory. I had to reluctantly leave it in the bedside drawer. So, in the end, I got in touch with the Watchguy and after a month wait for a slot to get it repaired, I went for a drive in the Zed to drop it off. I was hoping it would be a new winder pin, but ended up as a complete rebuild. Many parts fitted and all fixed and running in a couple of weeks. Keeps better time than ever before. I use it as an occaisional watch, but since repair I havent had a day without it on.

Rebuild is here and you can see how indepth it was. Highly recommend Christian and the guys there.

Thats a nice looking piece with a great story to it

Cheap and cheerful Citizen Eco-drive to add to the collection. Very legible and comfortable. As it's solar powered I can run the stopwatch as a second second hand with impunity :driving:

I have a few that I've had for many years too Andy but must find a way to resist buying more as I'm now up to almost 20 watches - madness!! :headbang:
