Lets see your Watches

Landed today - Seagull 1963. 38mm acrylic glass and Hirsch leather strap (replacing the supplied green NATO). Has a real vintage feel to it and the face is a delight. Quite a large lug to lug measurement so doesn't feel anywhere near as small as 38mm might suggest. Really nice movement that can be clearly seen through the caseback.

 Classic!

Lovely, I have a pelagos, I alternate between the bracelet and a crafter blue rubber strap, the Tudor one is still in its bag.
That ceramic bay is really nice, been looking at them for a while, I really like the new brass and sterling silver ones too but they are smaller at 39mm which is a neg for me, lovely watches though. Ceramic is a

Can any of the forum watch experts put a price on these?

I’ve got a trade in price from Goldsmiths but wondering what sort of price I could get privately

Also got a brand new genuine Omega orange croc strap for this watch.

If I were selling my PO now which is the 2500 I would be looking for £2350 minimum

The Chronograph if in good condition circa £2850

Walking past a pawn shop yesterday, a Seiko PADI turtle caught my eye. Unboxed and a link or two missing but I couldn’t resist as there wasn’t a mark on it and was a good price.

Cheers! It’s one impulse buy I won’t live to regret. Not a hugely expensive watch new but they’ve always caught my eye. They’ve been around for a good few years now but rarely seen much of a discount on them, so for less than half price I just couldn’t walk past :)

Absolutely, they're good value even at list price I think, but that only means they're even more tempting! I got an SKX007J a year ago, and then ended up buying a king samurai save the ocean a couple of months ago - I'd been looking at them on and off a while and couldn't resist any longer! I'd love one of their '68 divers reinterpretations, but need to save for that one :)

Outstanding - that's my kind of perfect purchase: a watch that you like/want, in great condition, sitting unloved in a pawn shop. I've picked up a Tissot PRS200 and a Casio Edifice from the local pawn shop at great prices, but with the market being a bit silly at the moment, it's increasingly difficult to find a bargain any more.

Did you post a pic of the King Turtle? I've got the Save the ocean manta ray (lighter blue dial) and Mr. Tourette has the Dark manta version - pics of both a couple of pages back.

I didn't, I saw the pic of the king turtle though, and the manta Ray's - I've purchased the king samurai with the lighter manta Ray dial - I'll pop some pics of it, and my Skx up tomorrow

lol, must have been tired - I read your first post and was sure you'd said King Turtle  . When I was in the shop they had the Turtle and Samurai mantas side by side - both good but I went with the Turtle as I didn't have anything with a cushion case and wanted to try it.

I’ve also got an ska369p1 which was my every day watch for a couple of years. Just been looking at the new samurai limited edition shu-iro, damn I want to order one!
