Lets see your Watches

I know there's not much love for homages or it seems anything sub 2k on this thread but here's a few recent purchases that I'm very happy with, a meteorite dial zelos mako and an ocean x v series, both great bang for buck watches

I've often wondered if this qualifies as an 'homage' - my Seiko Spork looks quite similar to a Sinn 857 (hands being the obvious difference). I'm more than happy to remove a zero from the price tag and still get a great looking (IMHO) watch

I’ve spent far too much on watches over the past few years. It usually ends in a bad case of buyers remorse, flipping for something cheaper, then later on getting the urge for a nicer piece again. The day I joined TZ-UK was when the slippery slope began!

I never got into really expensive stuff. Favourites so far have been have been from manufacturers such as Sinn, Fortis, and Oris. Had a couple of Omegas and Breitlings along the way. For now though I’m just wearing cheapies. A trusty little Seiko 5 automatic is my daily beater now. It takes the knocks and soldiers on, is a great size, reasonably accurate and cost me under a ton, so I’m happy to not be too precious about it.

Anyone had the courage to sign up for a Code41?

They look interestingly different but maybe just too much on view making the dial too small?

Nice Seiko that, and a great daily beater.

I have a Seiko beater and my go to G Shock when the going gets tuff.

Keep the good stuff in the safe, it’s not like we are going anywhere special.

What’s everybody’s else’s daily beater

This is my daily as I also have a Rolex sea Dweller which is getting to valuable to wear as a daily, having owned previous Rolex GMT master 2 this Tudor is exceptional for the money and the movement is better than the GMT in my mind as it’s very simple to move between 2 time zones, something which the Rolex was very poor at doing.

Well I advise you not to look at one because you will probably buy it if you liked the Rolex GMT. I’m soo impressed with it.

Added this to the collection yesterday, solar powered so no messing with batteries. nice thin and comfortable, 100m water tight 42mm great daily beater £50 used

My go to work watch, I’ve worn this almost daily for the past 4 years and it’s basically unmarked. These are virtually bombproof.

Ooh, like that a lot.

Just noticed that Omologato finally started making automatics. Quite nice but not bowled over for the price.
