Lets see your Watches

I'd be interested to know Forum members' opinion of moon phase watches.
Good idea or bad idea ? Will CWL ever produce one ?
A quick scout around the internet has thrown up one or two -
I really like the look of Breguet but not the look of the $30,340 price ticket.
Any suggestions, please, for more reasonably priced moon phases ?
My all-time favourite moonphase, but so hard to find: Oris Artix Complication  (It's also available with a silver dial, but I think the silver hands get lost on the dial making it harder to read, so black dial for me...)

And then there's this Longines which is has been around for quite a while but still looks great IMHO:

Or if that Longines is a bit 'busy' for you, they also do a much more understated moonphase, also beautiful, I think:

Dammit, now I'm really wanting one....

On this theme, I might have the opportunity to buy from a friend, her ladies sized Rolex Yacht Master (steel / platinum model 169622 ) it’s 11yr old and in good cosmetic condition although never serviced. It has all the papers, box and tags etc. She’s had it from new.

My question is how much can I offer whilst getting it for a good price yet not wanting to offend? I thought about offering what watchfinder offered?
It’s my intention to give my daughter a surprise

Funny you should mention the Longines. They've recently release a new moonphase model that I absolutely adore:

It's available in 40 & 42mm

Hi, I"m looking for an IWC instruction manual/booklet for ref 371807, if anyone has I"d like to buy. Got an almost complete set just need the booklet preferably in English. Added a few to the collection since last posting, thanks Stan

Just had this fine specimen delivered. An early 50th birthday present from my wife. C60 Trident 300. I'm not a watch aficionado by any means, but I'm super pleased with it.

Never really looked at CW watches before, but that's a very good looking piece of wrist-wear (and I'm a sucker for dive watches) . Love the caseback trident.

My watch loving mate (about 11 omegas, rolex, etc) is really taken with it too.

Actually I do have this Longine watch I inherited in 1980, it’s dated 1952 on the back with an inscription to my Uncle Bill, I forgot I had it, so got it out tonight and wound it up still works perfectly, :D
