Getting the urge to buy another watch  without scrolling back through this thread any thoughts on "Ball" automatics ?
I bought a preowned Ball Fireman II - absolutely love it. The build quality is fantastic and you never get tired of that lume  .
This is the same as mine, the black/red combo.
I do think some of the models are a bit 'over complicated/fussy' in their design but there's lots of variety so shouldn't be too hard to find something that appeals. Are you looking at anything specific?
Hi enzed, havn’t seen that model, where did you source it, have a few watches myself and this model appeals.
It's been out of production for a while, hence why I bought a preowned one. I think it was the cheapest model when new, so prices are good for preowned if you can find a good one. They came in various 2-tone combinations but I always thought the black/red was the nicest so grabbed one when I found it up for sale on WUS. That photo is from WatchTalkForums when it was reviewed by the owner, but there are probably plenty of reviews out there. It was a good way for me to get some of that lovely tritium lume without the price of the more expensive models (I have a Luminox Black Ops as well, but the Ball is a much better quality build, and an auto)

I like the Luminox as well and they appear on Trademe, will keep an eye (or 2) open for the Ball, especially like the colour combination you have. Thanks for the info. :D :D

Well, nothing like the superb models shown here but in Spain I was given the attached and its quite nice. I don't have many watches and usually go digital but its nice to have a chunky watch again :D

I think cars and watches go hand in hand.

I've been into watches and horology for about 20 odd years.

Here's a few of mine. There's a few more that I haven't taken pictures of -

Thanks, Mr Wilks. A bit of a love/hate relationship with the Night Mission. Well, with Breitling actually. I had to have the LCD module replaced on it after only two and a half years, and Breitling were having none of my requests for a goodwill gesture and charged me £493 for the pleasure.

I do love the watch though and (as with most of my watches) swap out the straps often.
The quoted photo is on an OEM Pro 3 rubber with an optional OEM blackened tang clasp.

The below is is on the OEM black canvas and tang (which the watch originated on)

And this is on the OEM mustard canvas with deployant. This is what the Night Mission Evo Cobra LE (this watch) was originally sold on, but Breitling apparently ran out of them anf the remaining pieces (of the 300 released) were put on the black canvas.
