This is my current bike. I have owned this one for 3 and a half years. Its a Ducati 900 Monster with Hi-level shortened pipes and custom fuel tank.

I also owned this one for a while, but part-ex'd it in to buy my classic car. It is a 900 SuperSport and was a lovely bike to own, and for me, one of the most masculine bikes on the road.

And there was this one too. The least said about that bike the better. I hated it, although this was more due to the awful Italian electrics.

I have also owned another 900 SuperSport in red that i sold to get the Monster you see in the 1st picture.

My 1st bike was a 750 Monster in Yellow.

I love Ducati to bits, and other than the MultiStrada, which is the only Ducati i have owned with Fuel Injection, all have been very reliable. I have never owned anybikes that weren't Ducati.

WOW! both of you're present bikes are some awesomely serious machines!!! Can you say whiplash? Ferraris and the like? For breakfast thank you very much...

Love the Monster! And the speed triple!
Anyone planning on getting the BMW HP2? I really like it. I saw the new 4 cylinder superbike at a motorcycle show in LA! Looks incredible!

Here's my current bike:

Here's my track bike I sold a year ago (I miss riding the track):

Here's a picture of my wife's old bike. We sold it about two years ago after she dropped it 3 times! She does just fine riding in the passenger seat!

So much for getting work done today...
You guys got me looking for all my old motorcycle pictures!
Here's one of me at Willow Springs Raceway in California:

nice bikes guys

CaZ4: I love the Kawi! I want to get into racing next year if I've got the extra dough..
Yeah that HP2 is the sexiest machine, it's one of the few bikes I'd want over my Triumph's, though for the price, I could have 3!

Wow! I've never seen one of those before! That is one big motor! I don't think Yamaha sells that one in the US.

No. For some reason it wasn't sold in the USA?

It's got plenty of grunt and sounds great!

I've had loads of bikes in the past, mainly sports bikes (Yamaha R1 was my last bike), but out of all of them, this is the one I can see me keeping!

How bout 4 wheeled bikes? I've got a few of those as well! :)
Here are two of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. One is my daughter at Glamis sand dunes and the other is my son at El Mirage dry lake bed at sunset (both in California):

I love quad bikes but I have no where I can use them properly near me so it's no use me buying one!

Those are a couple of awesome photos!

Lucky kids! You don't fancy adopting an old Brit do you? :P

Yes I looked into buying one of those, but they will be around £16,500 new!!!! They are also internet only order at the moment. Looks a quick bike in a straight line though! 200HP! Same sort of family as mine but that is a V4 motor and has around 100BHP more power!!

Hi Breaker

Great bike. What do you think of it? I have always been a Ducati man and a serious fan of V-twins. I am thinking of getting another bike next year that i can do a bit more mileage on, and an Aprilia Mille seems top of the list at the moment.

You you customise the Yamaha much? I would love to hear what one of these would sound like with a set of open pipes fitted to it?

The MT-01 has loads of torque, but it is not a sports bike V twin like an Aprillia would be. I have topped it out at just over 130mph.
The engine is a modern take on the old V twin engine as it's an air cooled push rod unit!

The extras I have on my bike in the pic are the official Akrapovic cans (removable baffles in the end! I took them out for a while but I had to put them back! I like big sounding bikes, but that was just too much! It actually gave me a head ache on a long run!) that sound great on the over-run as they pop back! I have the carbon fibre air intakes (on the side of the tank). You can get a top half fairing, rear set footrests, single seat conversion (all official Yamaha kit) for it also.

I like it as it's so unique and handles very well (have given a few sports bike riders a shock!). Test ride one before you buy though.

This is what the cans sound like (they are the same as mine but I have the heat shields and dual seat in place as I carry a passenger):

To be honest, i like the bike, but would keep hold of my Monster over one. I couldn't afford one for starters! The Monster has Ducati Performance/Remus high-level pipes which have also been shortened 4" and had all the baffles removed. It also has the open clutch cover, so is now loud enough to set car alarms off on occasions!

The Aprilia would be for going out on longer rides as it has more fairing than the Monster. The Monster is my hooning around bike, the Aprilia would be for maybe going the IOM of long trips like that.
