Lets see your bike! (bonus if its a BMW)

Hi AL, what I can say it's an awesome piece piece of kit, really wanted the silver black like yours but bought mine in March 03 it was a 02 pre reg and was about £1500 cheaper so decided I could live with the colour, don't know what it is about me but I can't keep anything anything looking like new even after a good clean, anyway to bike, it's way faster than I'll ever be, when you get it right and it's hurtling to the horizon with the front wheel just skimming the ground there are few better feelings, done a couple of very wet trackdays on it so haven't really had going flat out(if it's possible to)seen 150+ on the some local raods but thats about it sanity usually prevails by then, haven't done any long trips on it like previous bikes I've owned, Hampshire to Barcelona back via the bol when it was aPaul Ricard on a ZXR750L1, Liecestershire to Assen on to the Last Bol at Ricard on a 916 and Misano on ZX7R, only managed a couple of 500 mile round trips on it but it was comfy enough. Can't see me getting rid for a while yet nothing new out there really excites that much to make spending the money worth it. *AL*,

Superb! Awesome bikes aren't they? 8) You can own a quick car but nothing compares to these bikes. What kind of mileage is on your bike now? Mines on 14K but i've only ridden about 1K of those as i bought the bike last year after selling my CBR 600F Sport . Looking forward to a few longer journeys when the weather improves but present the bike is in the garage all cleaned and polished. Seen a very quick 160+ (private road of course  ) and as you say it's quick enough, far more capable than i'll ever be. Always wanted the liquid silver R1 just suits the shape perfectly, also love the torque of the 1000cc engine over the revving of my 600. Just bought new tyres and big service so it's all ready to go when the weather improves! I'm now off work (as from tonight) for 4 months!! Hopefully should have some nice days out before returning to work in June.

This was taken a couple of years ago at Brands Hatch, note the flourescent 'noob' jacket :D

Here are my two Triumphs. The "little one" is an '03 Triumph America that I have been customizing and tweaking since it was new. The bigger bike is an '08 Triumph Rocket3 Touring...a little tweaking to it...~140 Bhp and over 150 ftlbs Torque...Both are great fun.

This WAS mine after my second rebuild. Blue Flame can was a monster! It's a 600, but with this rebuild I added 750 USD forks - nice and planted. A few months later an elderly lady pulled out of a junction straight into the side of me. Decided perhaps biking wasn't for me. Bought the Zed!

It is missed.

A good old steady mount - does a bit of everything reasonably well. The pre-VTEC Viffer with nearly 30,000 miles on the clock and counting...
