Afternoon guys,
I've just had an interesting call with a chap from 'Allianz'.
In essence, I was involved in an accident (not in the Z) 2.5 years ago, fairly minor damage was £1200 to repair my car and the claim was settled on a 50:50 fault basis.
Anyway, I've just been called by the guy from 'Allianz' asking why I haven't submitted a claim in accordance with my Legal Expenses Cover for an "Inconvenience Payment" of between £2,000 and £5,000.
I told him I wasn't inconvenienced (other than dropping the astra off at a repair facility) and that I wasn't interested. I've no idea whether the call was legitimate or not, but in case it was a scam would be interested to hear whether anybody else has had something similar?
