They might be the same as E89, I thought they were off 1 series. Either way that's what I got, they fit perfectly. The only reason for the new connectors is so that the polarity is correct. The old wire pins slip out of the connector with a tiny screwdriver and insert into the new ones.
They certainly don't need cutting off. Does that make sense? I'll dig out the invoice and double check the numbers.

What do you cut off? A locating pin? The connectors aren't hard to swap and for less than £2 each I didn't want to cut corners.
