Yep, Gliptone's very good and, although I suppose you're right about sealed leathers, it does absorb into the Ivory White Nappa in my E89, as it did into the same type of leather in previous cars.SV8Predator said:Gliptone is a fine product (although I don't think it smells very much like real leather), and is very suitable for classic cars where the product can actually be absorbed into the leather.
On modern cars with a sealed leather surface, no leather "balms" or "conditioners" will have any effect and will just stay on the surface to attract dirt. So make sure you wipe off the Gliptone completely. At least the smell will remain if that's what you like about the product.

I tried Cliptone English leather treatment and gives off a reasonable leather smell, bit overpowering at first, but seems to last.
