Hi all I own a2010 E89 Z4 Alpine white with standard white side repeaters but I'm fancying these led chrome ones they sell do most people upgrade to these also are they for a newer model or just bling I'm not sure thanks has anybody fitted these also and views on them be great thanks

Changed mine a couple of years ago and love them.
Bit "Blingy" for some people but a cheap upgrade that gets rid of the horrid white plastic ones.
Only takes 5-10 mins a side to fit and around £100 for the pair.

They look even better colour coded and debadged imo!

Added mine last week and de-badged. Took me 10 mins max. Decent modification and cost £104.

I think people are having them painted?
Rob

I bought them from here...

http://www.tj-e.de/product_info.php?info=p24_bmw-z4-e89-led-seitenblinker-lci-umruestsatz-schwarz-glanz-lackierung.html

Then I had my chrome ones painted White and preferred them so sold the black ones.

Black on black looks great imo. Colour coded is definitely best.

Thanks ....think they will go nicely with Atacama Yellow along with some gloss black front grills! :fuelfire:

I just shoved some on mine and de-badged it at the same time, must admit I'm contemplating having them colour coded

Off topic, but what are those Rainsports like compared to the OEM Bridgestones? Are the Rainsports run flats?

Night and day different, the RFTs are just awful on every level compared to standard tyres

road noise
grip
handling

And they probably protect those puny 326 wheels too :P

What would one do in the event of a puncture? That tyre weld stuff? Does it dry hard or can it be easily wiped off the wheel and inside of tyre?

Just wipes off with water, I've never heard of it causing a problem.
