» Lake District Meet/Drive - SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER

It certainly would be a good drive in the winter but as shown being 1000-1500ft up its a different world completely and relentless could be no snow at the bottom but 2ft on the top. The weather is completely unpredictable on min fine the next end of the world stuff lol!

Then, to cap it all, when we left you at Penrith, we had a clear run across Hartside with the roof down - the rain stopped and the sun even came out!

Fantastic! Very jealous though :x

Thank you Tom for all your kind words.
I enjoyed following your M all day as it reminded me of my E86 3.0si I owned for over 4 years, what a car, never missed a beat.
I was telling my passenger how much I loved the look of your car and how it made want to buy another.
It is easily the best looking M coupe I've seen in a long time. Reminds me of the Morgan Aeromax in that colour.
Will be up for another run anytime your up for it!
New topic will be on shortly about me and my Z.
Thanks again for a great day. :)

Must have been seriously wet guys.

Just watching the Tour on its merry way today up and over Honister and they are cycling up rivers on the road in places.

Think I prefer the Lakes with a bit more blue sky. Save this weather for the Jeeps.

Glad everyone had a good time. Looking at the photos, that was some water, possible too much for me in a zed. I am more of what you might call a fair weather driver :)

Love that shot! What a road!

We have a good bunch of photos from 2012s National meet on this road, that looked good, and in a drier outlook....good on you for braving the rain, folks.Sorry I couldn't make it.

Hope you guys don't have too many local meets down in the Lakes, or come the National we will have no more routes to do, lol.

I'm obsessive about cleaning the car, but in this weather it's pointless as its a daily driver. Looking for a break in the weather.

Hi Guys,

Here are a few shots which give the impression of just how wet it was - sorry about the quality - they are cropped and the best of a poor lot!

Great day! Paul and Steph :driving:

Wow guys... looks like u had the same volume of water that followed Silverstone this year.

However, those Zed photos in overcast conditions seem to really bring out the definition of the Zeds lines, glad u all had a safe cruise, lunch stop looks like a fab choice
