» Lake District Meet/Drive - SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER

Right based on the Doodle and the most available date for most people, we'll pencil in the date as
Sunday 15th September

Apologies to those who can't make that date, maybe one or two of you may be able to swap things round and get there anyway 8)

We thought Sunday was a good day as it'll allow people to travel up on the Saturday if they wish and spend the Saturday doing whatever they wish in the Lakes as a couple have mentioned making a weekend of it with there partners.

Me and Tom will have a chat about some routes and meeting points, and from that suggest a hotel/campsite for anyone who wishes to stop over.

Oh well. I was thinking about coming along in the 205 but i'll not bother then :(
 
Looking forward to this think we're going to make a long weekend out of it travel back on monday:D so any campsites , hotel , B+B suggestions would be great

The Waters edge campsite in Kendal is where we go for the National, si-forks , nice site :thumbsup:

Hope the weather stays good for you folks......just try your best not to steal all the National meet routes /steal my thunder for next years , ha-ha :poke:

I might even be able to make this...so put me as a possible, Ste/Tomscott :D :driving:

Once we've had a chat and decided on routes and a meeting point we'll be able to suggest areas for hotels/campsites of useful locations.

Craig, if we can have a meet even half as good as the one you and John organise every year we'll have done a great job so no worries on that score haha. Plenty of routes and roads in the lakes so all good 8-) be great to see you and that lovely M so hope you can get down for it

Staying in the Lakes again this weekend near Keswick so will be out for evening drives over the Honnister and Whinlatter passes. :driving:

Our paths may cross John. We're heading over that way on Sunday. Probably going to Keswick first and then drop into Grasmere around lunchtime :thumbsup:
 
Quality weekend weather so hope you lot had a good time!

Me and Tom are gonna have a bit of a scout/drive around in the next few weeks to finalise meeting point details (and accomodation recommendations for those who want to stop over).
 
Hopefully will be at this, no longer a z4 owner as I moved to spain but going to try and convince my mate to bring his along! :D
