Interesting point I’ve found,
My app status says last update 17th as I haven’t driven her for a few days. But previously I’ve checked it a few hours later from driving and it’s updated… does it not “ping” if it’s powered down for a bit I guess ?
Wonder if it’s also an “old” location too

I also discovered the emergency braking in reverse by accident when I wanted to park “snug against a pillar in a small car park. Interestingly it then gave me a pop up to ‘disable for this manoeuvre’ turning back on afterwards which I liked.

If you go with certain bmw approved tyre (star marked tyre) like the one (PSS) come with the car, there is a way to scan the QR code on the tyre to tell the car which specific tyre is fitted.

Yeah it has some auto recognition.

Then, in your myBmw app, you can check each tyre’s model as long as you fit the supported one and pressure

How did you get this to work? Won’t on mine.





I just did the auto recognition a day or so ago and it’s identified them in the iDrive but not the app :|

I haven’t done anything. This is what mine looks like. However, when I changed to the wheel from my G31 and reset the system, it still shows the PSS tyres but the pressure is updated.

Mine is at 2021.07 software version. If you recently done the RSU, I think you should be at the same version.

Yeah I think I must be as there’s no RSU in the app waiting. And the app is updated too.
Unless it’s a different pack within the various TPMS or something..
I have summer Mitchelin PSS’s on from new so I’d guess they’d detect. Maybe they don’t have the star on them. I’ll check the tyres in the morning

[ref]Sladester100[/ref], looks like it hasn’t connected to your app. Make sure you are logged in in the car. When on the app main page, I think pulling down refreshes things.
All else fails, log out of app and log in again.
