This is a very strange thread, so the guy doesn't know every aspect of a BMW warranty and uses a bit of sales patter in his adverts. Most BMW dealers don't know the details of the Z4M service intervals, or even whether Inspection 1 warrants a valve clearance check. Either way, He has now acknowledged that he didn't know an aspect of the warranty saga and should it come back to bite a buyer in the ass, wouldn't they have some protection if he'd provided incorrect advise leading to a loss??
The people he has actually dealt with first hand generally only have positive things to say. That speaks volumes imo.
You will always have keyboard warriors who have had a bad day at the office spluttering insults on the webz. If Russell has a Z4M for sale which meets your criteria, he will be able to advise very knowledgeably on the technical aspect of things.

I have no idea who KnightsG is but fair play to him for coming on here and responding in a measured and civil manner in the face of some rather harsh comments.

I dont think anyone has said he is not competent re z4 m coupe's, he sells & advertises to sell z4 m coupes so one would hope he is!
However he does bullshit and therefore does talk s**t, he did not defend his talking bollocks statement on PH and the phone call, anyway he is getting far too much PR for talking s**t.

I don't need to defend anything I do to the likes of you, whoever you are.
But, if you re-read what I said. I do choose who to buy from and sell to, why would I not do that!? People I want to work with on either a purchase or a sale bares an important part towards the make up of a car and consequently a relationship going forward.
Thankfully we won't be doing any business anytime soon to need to worry.

knightg is only hyperboling to sell cars- shame on him for trying to do his job! The cars he sells look as far as you can tell from an advert clean and well cared for. He knows his stuff and sells cars that in his informed opinion are good.
