Ignition on then off and key out. Hold down lock button then press unlock button 3 times before releasing lock button.
It worked! I don't know what was different from when I tried at the weekend more than a few times but I don't care! Quickly paired the new key too so now have 2 x working keys!!!
Guess to what's what I get for buying a 16 year old car who is pretty set in her single key ways![]()

Old key doesn't operate central locking but new one does?! Tried repairing again starting with original key. Paired fine. Then did the new key straight away. This one paired too but old key stops working?!
In two minds on cancelling the session tomorrow.
