Just had my mind blown

Right, so I've been watching a few of the Ammo NYC videos (same guy as on the Drive Clean vids) and Larry was explaining how a glaze/ sealant works to fill in fine swirls.

I've never really noticed the impact water has on swirls, but in this snapshot from the video you can see that when a bit of water is sprayed onto the car as it seeps off the swirls re-appear and can't be seen where the water is present.

I'm very new to detailing so my mind is easily blown, but would a glaze really work this well?

There are a few fine swirls on the Z, so I may have to strip it back, clay, glaze, and wax in the near future.

A favourite of mine and subscribed to Drive Clean on You Tube

As for the glaze, iv never tried it!

a glaze contains oils and fillers... they just mask the swirls... once they break down the swirls will show back up...

kind of the same thing with water...
