Afternoon everyone , just thought I'd let you know that on the back of a recommendation from a senior member on here the OP has offered the car to me and will be making contact with me tomorrow once it has had its MOT.

You owe me a pint or two then :poke:

If I get it, in actual fact someone else put my name forward before you but thanks anyway
Perhaps a cuppa next time

Just to put this to bed ........... Its not a wind up.

Im just a bit overwhelmed with the amount of PM's demanding to know .......

a) whats wrong with it ....... at that price there has to be somethng wrong with it
b) telling me that it must be rubbish or a con if there is no 100% BMW dealer stamped service history
c) that I have to publish hundreds of pictures to prove the paintwork is spotless
d) that I have to make myself available to suit people who may want to travel up to see it.......

First of all, when it goes it will go for 9000 because thats what I want out of it - the hard top and tyres will go with it because I will not have any use for them ...... and at 61 years old I cant be arsed putting them on ebay and having 20 people come round to my house.

I figure that at 9000, someone will think its worth getting off their arse and coming up to have a look and be prepared to fit it into my schedule rather than ther own.
At 9000 I figure someone will think its worth spending 150 on easyjet to pop up for a day to have a look
At 9000, someone will bother to look at the car, see the potential and snap it up.
That at 9000 it will put a big smile on someones face ............
I figure that at 9000 I will not have to put much effort into the sale
and I really dont give much of a f**k if people think I am devaluing the market, it's my car and I will do what I like with it.

I do not wind people up, I am as straight as they come ......... and I have no emotional attachment to vehicles, I buy them, I drive them, I either crash them or sell them ....... then I buy another. :)

That seems to have cleared things up - just one thing though, to put our minds at rest: your avatar - thats not you is it?
