not only do i feel slightly sick, i feel like i gave the poor weird looking old lady on the banner some hope :(

Yeah, that banner is pretty disturbing even without clicking on it.

I wish there were better standards for the adds, it could at least be an add for hot 18 year old nympho's

Oh I am so glad other people think the same, I cannot imagine anyone clicking on that site (on purpose). I am sure someone loves her, but it ain't me.

IIRC the ads are fed from Google, so very little control of them is in the hands of the mods...

Ye wish the mods would get them to sort that advert she is not only grim (Reminds me of a character off MIB) but also doesn't put the site in great light as non member log in.

That ad has been there every time I sign in... no change for ages.

What's more worrying is that Google select these ads by looking at various data about the site on which they are placed... :o

I was going to post about this the other day. I also find this ad somewhat disturbing and I agree it doesn't give a good first impression of this sight!

At least its not targeted adverts for me, I couldnt understand why google were feeding me mature dating ads :(

I don't understand how you are seeing this - I get demon tweeks today, and doesn't seem to change...

Interesting... the ad that appears (Mature Dating) is the same on my computer (mac running Safari browser) and my wife's work PC running IE... I wondering is it is something to do with internet settings? As you have kids, Bing, do you have yours set up on a 'parental' setting by any chance...?

Nope, I am on my iPad - I impose parental control by not giving it to him... Always on here :P

Haven't paid attention from my work PC, but our firewall blocks active content and hates ads usually. I shall try later
