Having thought about it some more, I think the ads are to do with settings on your Google account, or indeed whether you actually log into Google...

Yeah. I use it on my 'home' computer. My 'work' computers, which I spend virtually all my waking hours on haven't got it, because I need to check that ads on my clients' sites work!!![]()
