Joyriders in my Zed

Yeah this is a tough one … I teach in a PRU - basically it’s a school for students who have been expelled from mainstream school, or are at risk of expulsion.

Pretty much every working day I encounter situations where you could go
route a - hardcore
route b - more understanding

The problem is neither option is necessarily “right” you always make decisions on what you can live with or what you think the right decision is in order for that person to make better choices going forward

In this instance speaking only for myself here - no way I could’ve gone to the police knowing what the outcome might have been, but I might go & speak to the owner of the garage to share what I knew, if I felt there was no chance of retribution

It is your decision but before putting it to bed, do you remember two years ago the garage opposite had a similar problem. luck ran out on that occasion, the car rolled at high speed after entering Tamerton road. The car was written off and the driver sustained serious injuries. Fortunately no one else was involved or injured. Lessons need to be learnt.

The garage opposite?

Just a co incidence or is there a link?
Maybe I just have a suspicious nature!

I'm pretty sure that in this instance there is no connection other than location but it does help to show you don't have to travel far before you bump into another D##k Head.

It must be a huge temptation tho, to see an expensive / fast / desirable car and an opportunity to drive it whilst it's only a car you can dream of owning.
I'm not suggesting this is any excuse, merely a reason why they take the risk?

It shows a total utter lack of respect and common decency for and to the people who trust and pay their hard earned money for the service they provide. You are giving these lowlifes a living paying for their livelihood and this is how they thank you.
At the least I would put the video on their Facebook page to act as a warning to current and potential customers.
I guarantee that this will not be the first or last time that they abuse the trust customers place in them.

Think you could get in some trouble adding the video to their Facebook page - leaving a review somewhere else should be fine :!:

They will simply remove it from their fb page. However they may be dumb enough, and let's face it they have previous, to simply block the poster but leave the page public. Simply get a friend etc to post it and keep doing so as long as possible.

I know he is not but the owner of the business is going to react somehow which is not going to be funny when he tips a litre of brake fluid over the ops car which is not going to be funny

Cctv and dash cam is the answer to the criminal damage you suggest would be their response.
