Jonny managed to get now "Black" hoops back on.

Good to see it worked out so well for you. It's always a bit daunting attacking these jobs sometimes, especially when you hear others' horror stories.
The matt black suits it perfectly as it goes well with the interior.

Look much better Black then the stock Silver in my personal opinion, broke 4 clips on each of the hoops, wet and dry all over, thick coat of Grey primer, wet and dry again then two coats of Matt Black then I baked them all day in the hot sun yesturday.

Looking good, much better than silver, though I may point out that someone has cut your aerial a little short....

They look great Jonny - very professional finish
I hope when I come to do mine I can get the same effect - haven't decided what colour though.

Take a photo with roof down and photoshop it to decide.
My money would be on red to match the bodywork, though matt black like Johnny would work as well. Sounds like you might need a couple of quick-fit sets to apply depending on your mood...

Mine slide backwards towards the rear of the car, I do have the m seats though so could be different?
