they are addictive. i'm in the 5Z club now.

1 x z3, 1 x e85, 3 x e89

it is really hard to find something better in the same price bracket.

I wasn't counting a Z3 i had . so im a 4Zer
There are other cars ive tried in between & some more i want to try but longterm the Z4 whether E85 ,E86 E89 & regardless of engine size are such great cars for the money , there is one for all pockets yet the fun factor remains pretty much the same
Great motors , great forum & glad i discovered them both

Thanks guys! Yeah it's mental that for some exhaust tips!

I am also glad I've finally got back in a z4, not been able to afford one for a long time, but the Mrs helped me out God bless her!

Thanks Buzyg!

Neil I had those on my 330 so you might be on to something I'll give them a try :)

Right guys here's some more pics with my fiancées 120d m sport coupe - I could have sworn space grey was the Same as silver grey?? Hers looks darker than mine :-/

Just give it a good clean, did the roof, the leather with gliptone & done the exhaust tips. Mrs did most of it

Gave the engine bay a go over too

Had a run to Blackpool too & got a pic

Think I felt a tiny bit of sticky steering on the way home tonight mid way into a roundabout...

The design changed from July 2006 build onwards, would you believe my car was built on the 29/06/2006

Done a bit more work this morning

The 108s were scabby as hell on the inside, so just gave them a quick rub down & spray with silver but it looked crap so I rubbed that down & did it again with some satin black, looks ok for now until I can get them done properly!

I did the calipers & hubs silver whilst I was at it & gave the arches a good clean with autosmart g101

Black inside is a good idea, if I ever refurbish my wheels I'd do the same as nobody ever cleans the brake dust off inside. The odd bit that gets rubbed off just behind the spokes just looks rubbish then as you get random patches of silver coming through.

Indeed mate! Well worth doing for the price of a rattle can & some wet & dry :)

Lovely car, glad you're enjoying it...

Must say, I'm very confused by you saying it's not the 'Si' version? I was under the impression the N52 engine was the Si version of both 2.5 and 3.0... Maybe someone could explain

You & me both my friend! I bought it on the premise it was a 2.5Si -- thinking the 'S' stood for Sport, but apparently , they do a 2.5i 177 M sport, a 2.5i 177 SE - then they do a high out put 2.5Si 217 M sport and a 2.5Si 217 SE!

Oh well!

Map is on the cards next month - taking it from 177bhp to 201bhp, will have to see what difference it makes :)
