Sold it tuesday night Neil, got offered something i couldn't refuse & I'd had my eye on this one for a week or so (he'd dropped it almost a grand coincidentally!)

Srhutch, what do you think will be next for you then? :)

Heart says MC. Nothing wrong with the MR I had (which Taz now owns), just the MC felt more special IMO.
 
know exactly what you mean Inkey.

Only reason i didn't get a coupe was because i couldn't afford a decent one.

I could have spent 8 grand *(stretching myself) and bought a leggy tatty coupe which had been abused,

or a low mileage full history tidy roadster for 7. It was just a no brainer for me, hopefully one day be able to get another decent coupe :)

I made it into the 2Z club in 8 months, but no plans to join the 3Z club anytime soon.

Looks like you have sourced I nice motor there, I'm guessing the mileage is lowish too :thumbsup:

I've just ordered a clubsport gearknob from my local BMW dealer £52.75 plus vat. Collecting this afternoon!

thank you mate appreciate your comments, only issue I found when I was cleaning it today is a small repair on the rear bumper on the near side which is a bit substandard but think with a bit of wet sanding it'll be ok!


Just wondering where I can get some reasonably priced exhaust tips, the ones from Bmw are £94!!!

Also, since buying I can't get to drive it, Mrs always wants to drive the damn thing!!

 
they are addictive. i'm in the 5Z club now.

1 x z3, 1 x e85, 3 x e89

it is really hard to find something better in the same price bracket.
 
£94 :o that's about double what they were back in 2008.

Might be worth contacting MachineMonkey, although I'm not sure he is still making them.
