Much as I love tech and the concept of the iWatch making wearable tech a standard rather than a quaint moment in 21st century tech fashion history, I saw a guy at work wearing an iWatch today and my first thought was 'predictable Apple tw@t'
Seriously not meaning to offend anyone here, just wanted to say what my first thoughts were as it was telling to me how much more work needs to be done before I accept this as an option that's usable/relevant/life enriching.
For now I'll stick with the clockwork device I currently wear.
If we we're being honest, all watches are merely jewelry, and if you were being philosphical about it they are never going to be seen as "usable/relevant/life enriching", you could probably get by without a watch at all, there's clocks everywhere and you could always ask the person next to you, that little bit of human interaction would probably be much more enriching...
Like I say, not meanings to offend anyone. My point was more around a device such as this and it's purpose. Which is to be usable (of course), relevant (for for purpose) and life enriching (enabling a better life or at least way of managing that life). Don't think I was directly comparing it to a standard watch, but if that was misunderstood then apologies. Am sure I'm missing out hugely but thought it useful to reference my thoughts.
Incidentally I thought the same when the iPad came out and I've got three of those now so what do I know right?!
