I've realised I'm getting old...what to do (regarding cars)?

Given your dislike of the Focus attracting the wrong attention, the 650i might be a more discrete and grown up option.
Yep you are completely correct and was the original point of the thread. Problem is it's easy to get carried away and excited and revert back to the younger me in my head. :)

I don't think you can compare attention from a focus ST to an M6 personally...they are lovely understated cars

I think that looks stunning, ignore the wife, the colour is stunning
Says the divorcee with a previous VO car :poke:
I am seriously thinking about it. If it was a vert I would be down the A1 by now. :D

The VO and the divorce were completely unrelated. There’s was seemingly plenty of other things to p!ss her off before a car colour

I have to say the convertible would be a factor in my choice but if you’re definitely keeping the Zed maybe not so much of an issue??

Did you look better in a skirt than her Andrew….?? :poke:

Pondrew….I’m 54 too….growing up is not a necessity mate….

Told you before, it’s a kilt, not a skirt :headbang:

I’d need my own section for the things I allegedly did that pissed her off. Funnily, and fortunately, enough the current OH doesn’t share the same opinion, well not all of the time :tumbleweed:

I totally agree with you (I know :o ) I’m 52 and have zero chance of growing up. My aim is to grow old disgracefully, another thing the ex Mrs didn’t like

It's not so much growing up, John, as me thinking I want certain things then realising I don't because I am different (read older) to how I used to be. Blimey that sounded a bit philosophical didn't it?
To put it another way; I'm complicated :D

Pah, kids. 58 and still hooning about on this.
I had something similar (Kwaka Z1000) until a couple of years ago. It sat in the garage as I would only take it out if there was zero chance of rain, the temperature was at least 23 degrees C and my dodgy hip was up to it. So never. :(

Alas sitting like this at the moment, getting new tyres. Less than 4000 miles out of the rear and changing front as well as going for PR5's.

£300 plus, and I put 2 rears on the G29 a couple of weeks back, been an expensive month for tyres.

Yep I gather tyres wear out quicker on a bike than condoms on a porn star…

How much are tyres for it purely out of interest scubes…?

Costing £295 for the pair I think. Could have got them around £250 buying myself, but the fitters "discount" £20 if bought through them and I knew they were hard to come by at the moment so just told them to order them in.
First time I've taken in loose wheels, £20 discount for that too.

Meh, costly but for the fun factor worth it imho.
