Very nice indeed! Where did you source them from? :D

thanks :D

I got facelift headlights with black inners from ebay. circa £130 for the pair. dreamer kindly gave me a pair of opened up pre-FL headlights which i took the silver inners from.

They look well Peddy

What method did you use to hide the amber spots, I’m currently in the middle of doing mine and have tried the mirror film on the amber domes with no success; me and sticky tapes don’t mix. I then tried to source some chrome lacquer to paint the domes just like the stealth bulbs you can buy for rear brake lamps, again with no success. I’ve opted for painting the bulbs amber and doing away with the domes currently, unless there is a better way I don’t know about. By the way what did you do with the black inners? I’m unsure whether or not to go the black inner rout or silver. I have a black car by the way. What are people’s thoughts about black inners verses silver.

Looks awesome - Ive got all the parts to do mine.

Still a little worried about taking a dremel to my headlights, but hopefully it should be worth it.
Just need to find some free time to actually do the conversion!... :x

Thanks guys! Glad you all like it! :)

I used your first method, mirror film and selotape. I actually took some pics of how i wrapped the domes... I can post them up if you like?

re black inners - i think it'll be too black, but you can have the ones I have if you want to test it out. In fact I've got lots of spare bit (all the parts to make a pair of amber ones with black inners). If anyone needs any parts then let me know... they'll be going in the bin soon!

I would be grateful of any parts Peddy and would be interested to see the photos of your foil domes. I would particulary like to see what black inners would look like although as you say it may be to black.

Peddy - Im all emotional :D :D

Well done mate, there was a seriously anxious look on your face as I showed you bits of headlight sprawled across the carpet!

But I told you you could do it, and cue the rocky music, there they are 8) :D

Its hands down theeee Holy grail and best exterior mod you can do to a pre facelift zed

Great job  those amber markers are the last and only thing I would change on mine (done the clear sides and brake light and red rear's) so the only amber left is the hardest one to get at!

Cheers on your fine work.

It really isn't hard... it's just time consuming! You need a lot patience... especially when cutting them open. Took me the day to just open up all four headlights!
