As some of you already know, I've been a bit quiet recently as I unfortunately crashed my Z through a hedge back in July (A month ago) and wrote it off
Entirely my fault, nobody else involved, nobody injured (apart from my lovely car
)
After a long battle with the insurance company, they've now paid out in full. Their original offer was 8k which I felt wasn't representative, eventually, after much wrangling, I managed to get them up to 11k which I think was much more realistic.
After the experience I've had, I would suggest you *never* accept the first offer on a vehicle (or even the second, third or fourth one). Make sure you know the legalities and don't be forced or cajoled into accepting an offer that you're not happy with.
I'm planning on going without a car for a few months and sticking some money in the bank before going out and buying something else, possibly a Z4MR, maybe something else.
