There are plenty of videos out there of supercars racing bikes and none of them get away from the bikes the way that does.
An R1 accelerates from 0-60 in around 2.5 seconds which is the same as a Mclaren MP4, roughly.
This would mean that this golf would piss all over a formula 1 car.

JE 100 BHP per cylinder sounds fun!! 250-350 would be plenty anything over 250 and with all the added TQ your going to have a fun fast car.

Guys you cannot talk about torque and power as if they were somehow separate things - power is torque at given revs. If you have more torque at the same rpm the engine will make more power and power is what you want in a car.
An example: a 32 foot waterwheel will produce about 26,000 ft-lb of torque ... that is roughly 100 times the max torque of a Z4M 3.2 ... unfortunately the waterwheel only turns at about 5 rpm so it's power output is a measly 20 bhp ...
No point having a big hammer if you can only move it veeeeeeeery slowly ....

How do you find the brakes, what size did you get on the front?
I only got the front Jonny - believe me that's enough - 356mm discs - 6 pot non floating - which are a tight fit - in hindsight maybe should have gone smaller - they do fit with my rims but there is only a couple of millimetres clearance -as the callipers are kinda huge !
It's been autobahn blasting and many Swiss Alpine pass descents - stopping power was awesome - without being over sensitive in "normal" conditions. Need some bedding in - especially with the Ferodo DS2500 pads I chose. I was very pleased with them - and they do look good too.
