It's finally ///M time for mr wilks !

Blown away fellas , yes i did go the long way home after quickly finding out 3rd gear was utterly addictive in both noise & momentum :D
Did half the journey home on motorway & half on the back roads over the moors via Hebden Bridge & Heptonstall
I wonder what speeds you would have to do to worry the car :? i was pushing it at times & it never felt lairy at all which kinda made me want to push a little more but i would have been into 3 figures
Stopped off here & there to take a couple of snaps before taking mrs w out for a quick :driving: & a beer .
A day to savour for me

Bloody hell, guess he took the long way home - perfectly understandable :D

Wonder if he's found the socks yet...
Perhaps he found an un-used sock and has pulled over to make the most of it... :censored:
Huh - an unused sock.... You didn't know Woots, did you?

Congratulations ///Mr Wilks :D

Can't wait to hear if this car has grabbed you like no other... Oh, and every once in a while keep pushing - the car will get to 3 figures in 3rd, and that really does sound like the gates of hell have been left ajar

It'll crash into the limiter as happily in third as it does in first and second. I found out exactly how willing it is to go that fast by terrifying the salesman whilst joining a motorway during my test drive

I was thinking I was gonna get a tap on the door for a brew!

Congrats..

Hopefully you can now see what all the fuss is about!

Congrats Andy, looks lovely. Can't wait to see what new rims will be on soon, and can you straighten that rear plate!?

I will have a drive over some time soon , you can cast your eye over the paintwork but i think its in pretty good order with no signs of swirl or scratches in the lacquer
Just need to keep it that way

The rear plate is on straight -it will be one of the rear springs shot! :P

Nice one Andy, looks great condition.

How was the ride on the cobbled streets of Heptonstall?

When i had my 964 i would get out 6-30/7am on a Sunday over to the Fylde coast & be back home before the other folks in the house had even made it downstairs  i can see this car being very similar
