It's finally ///M time for mr wilks !

Great news Andy! Brilliant stuff! So does this mean everyone will have second look at any nice wheels and tyres that come up in ///M sizing

Brilliant news Andy and really chuffed for you  you only have to keep it for more than 5 months to beat my length of ownership! lets hope you do and I wished I had hung onto mine so much now and not got so obsessed with wanting a V8 M3 instead because as you know that was a really poor decision on my part...you live and learn though.

Enjoy picking it up and I look forward to seeing the pics and I bet you wont sleep the night before! :)

Excellent news Mr Wilks! enjoy. I think you must be the nearest M owner to me, would love to come and drool over it at some stage

When do you pick it up Andy?

The car was Mot'd today without issues or advisories so immediately booked a one way train for Saturday :trampoline:
i have been bubbling all week & can't see much sleep on Friday night
Bag full of cash , a picnic & a scenic train ride through the Peak district followed by a memorable drive home :driving:

It's moments like this that stay with you. Have fun Mr.W and am formally requesting a journey thread detailing the trip there and back. See it as the start of your official build thread

Congratulations on your new purchase, you will have a smile from ear to ear each and every time you get in and start up :driving:

Awesome news, considered joining the club myself pretty soon but you've given me the kick up the backside to get a move on!

I have wrestled the demon's for a good while but in all honesty whilst i did crave the M experience i had to sit tight until the time was right as having such a large amount tied up in a relatively low use weekend car can be harder to justify than the costs of running one as a daily driver
In my heart & head i see this car as special as the 964 i bought some while ago , rare, quirky & not at all perfect but a mechanical masterpiece to treasure each time the garage door is opened :driving:
