It's finally ///M time for mr wilks !

Congrats - I would say that you've bought the wrong car, but having spent the day driving my S in the sunshine with the roof down, I can understand the appeal of the ///MR. I'd never swap my coupe for a floppy top, but rooflessness is great when the sun is shining and really amplifies the effect of exhaust and induction mods. Looking forward to seeing the photos

Really Andy do you ever stop buying cars or car related items

You must have a very patient other half

Guess we should get a drive out organised sometime then

About bloody time Mr.W. All those cars you've had in the past 12-18 months, dancing around the ///M itch that just needed to be scratched. Great sounding spec, colour etc. (Kumhos? )

A roadster too. Now me being a head-says-roadster-heart-says-coupe kinda guy, both have their merits, but knowing the little I do about you and your trips to the continent, you're in for some fun rides down to that French bolt hole of yours!

Just one problem buying an ///M. Nothing else in that model ramge will ever again be adequate.

Looking forward to the pictures

That's great Andy! Absolutely Chuffed to bits for you :driving: top fella

France will seem a little bit smaller now!
Pics soon please! 8)

Thanks for all the comments ladies & gents , the folks on here certainly add more than a little to the ownership experience whatever Z it is they own or did own
I have a few plans for modding the car itself & more importantly a few trips planned kicking off with 1000+miles touring Scotland mid May :driving: 6 days/6 nights 200 miles a day booked initially for the TT but that has a new owner now :) then a Normandy jaunt exploring some well known roads is also on the cards + the usual weekend runs in to the Ribble Valley
Just can't wait to get it home & more than anything blown away with how enjoyable it was to drive as many guys post on the harsh gearchange & harsh ride :? neither of which i experienced today .
Those asking for pics ? Careful what you wish for :P They'l come thick & fast when its here

How long will have the ///M for then!? :poke:

Enough to enjoy it jonny  all the glorious torque & noises that come with the "full fat" version instead of the "skimmed" :poke:

1 way train ticket & 100 miles home through the Peak District should sort that out

Congrats Mr Wilks, you're welcome to call in for a quick brew and show it off if you get chance on your way home.
