Is there a UK version of the US Homecoming?

I did a big summer party last year where we had a few of the British (and EU) crowd gather at Dunsfold for tour of the curcuit then a BBQ at a local hotel. It was a bitch to organise so many people, but worth it.

I'm not doing one this year, but maybe next.

I'm curious, do you know what type of camera was used for that pano shot?

Yes, I took it. Used a Canon 30d and 24-105 f/4 lens and stitched it using their software after lens correction in DXO. The DXO bit helps rectify the (not sure what it's called) lens issue that warps an image. I think from memory that's about 6 shots together, the original file is very very wide.

The Top Gear Test Track felt so different when you're actually on it, here's a bunch of us hitting the "Second to Last Corner"

I'll do this again for the UK Zed Community next year - it was a cracking day out and a pretty good turn out for the UK lot...

Pop - did you sort that with Plans Motorsport, or the Dunsfold owners themselves?

Dunsfold owners themselves - It wasn't a track day, just a drive round the circuit in formation and a morning there looking around and for pictures. It was more of a social event, getting 80 odd cars together and a knees up for lunch. We made a generous donation to the charity they support for the privilege.

I've looked into the Plans Motersport option a couple of years ago - but £ per what you get is poor - as it's a figure of 8 track using the same bit of track between Follow Through and Chicago you can't have many cars out because of saftey - put it perspective, Zed-cars.EU did their own track day at Llandow and got the sole use of the track for much the same as Plans charge for a day there.

Maybe they might set up an HC event in Germany, since that is where the next Z's are going to be built. :)
