Is the coupe worth more than the roadster?

Appreciate the likes of WBAC are not set up for the low numbered rarer models but they do supply a lot of cars to the motor trade & generally speaking their valuations are usually 10/20% below what you could receive in a private sale
It wasn't so much the figure i was interested in , it was the £2k difference they placed in the cars :wink:
Purely out of interest I entered my Zs details into WBAC recently....£11k. Ignored it and 2 weeks later I was informed the value of my Z had increased!!! 
....£11,115.....then 2 weeks later increased again....£11,810.....that's a 7% increase in 1 month....
Get ready guys, Z4M prices are about to kill it :wink:

after test driving several roadies and owning a coupe, I can safely say coupe's feel a bit more special then roadsters.....
for me the cabin resonance on engine and exhaust note just sounds better then being in a roadster...
so yes, a coupe is and should always be worth more...plus it looks better!!

I own a roadster, but must admit, I am a big fan of the coupe and in my eyes, I think the coupe will be more sort after in years to come.
My only reason for getting the roadster was that my other half has never forgiven me for selling our Z3 2.2 Sport and the only way I could convince her that we needed a Z4M was if we compromised and went for the roadster.
I'm not complaining though. Love having the roof down and I'm one of those who will happily have it down on a frosty morning with a hat and scarf on!!
Just wish the heaters were a bit better. Much better in the Z3.

I am not fussed on which model is worth more. Although when i see these sort of posts I do raise a smile, as being on here for a number of years the most vocal forum members who waffle on about Roadsters vrs Coupes or 3.0 vrs M's often sell up their Z's quicker than anyone else...
I guess it all boils down to the fact that there were less Coupe's made as it was based on the Roadster which is 4 years older
For me its all about the driving experience. Having done a number of Euro Roadtrips being enclosed in a normal roofed car would have not been the same...

Yes, the Coupe IS worth more than the equivalent Roadster. Is it better? Not really. It's more or less the same as the Roadster. Just buy the one that suits you.
