Is it just me. . . . . . ?

I say your hooligan around paul :poke: ...... And I should be out with you haha. Nor joking think it's just jealous people. Some people don't know the capability of their own car let alone ours haha. Well yours anyway the big 3 0

Cant say I have really had this problem at all in the zed. Had it constantly in my last car however (mazda mx5) where drivers would get pissed if you tried to overtake them....one case got so bad that it ended up a police matter where he refused to let me pull back in as oncoming traffic approached me. Some drivers are arse's...this one was a HGV driver....

 Having been on many runs now with Paul I can honestly see why people get upset.
He drives extremely fast with no consideration for others.
Usually on two wheels round corners.
Airborn as much as possible over blind crests.
Double white lines seem to incite pure madness into his right foot.
Signs depicting the correct speed limit, well what can you expect, like a red rag to a bull!
He fancies an 'M' but how much more dangerous could he be to the proper driving public than he is now?
Sorry mate couldn't resist a dig, I know you don't drive like that,at least not all the time. Its always a pleasure to be out in your company.
Long live the Three Amigos.

Nice one Craig (it takes Mike a full week to type a message anyway so one a week is about right)

That sounds a busy day :o Not surprised - we visited Warkworth and kept going as that was busy too.

:driving:

I am back from the states 3 weeks today, and will look forward to p**sing a few people off when I finally get back to my coupe and my bike...going to drive/ride the hell out of both of em... :D

When I'm in my Zed, I find other drivers will give me priority at junctions and wave me through. This never happens when I'm driving my Picasso!

I can only assume that they want a geek at the Zed as I pass through.

Cant say I've experienced this but i think this says more about the other people than your driving Paul.

Perhaps because the thought of overtaking someone in their Zafira would never even cross their mind they simply react when you pass by. They assume 'boy racer' 'impatient' 'BMW driver' without actually thinking about the fact you've carried out the move in a safe and controlled way.

With the expletive and the headbangs it appears that you're channeling Jonny Essex....

it ain't just the car either (I get it all the time independent of the car I'm driving)- its the simple fact that they can't drive any quicker and fail to see how anyone else could possibly be going quicker than they can safely :P

Personally I just give 'em a cheery wave and leave them in the dust :driving:

Driver training is the key :D 8)

The main problem with this is people have their own pre-conceived ideas on how we should all be driving. A lot of this can be dictated by the car they drive and the way in which THEY think we should all drive. That of course is not true we have young chav's driving their " suped " up cars at ridiculous speeds to show off to their mates in outright dangerous fashion. See I've just done it. Then we have our older community who drive everywhere like Miss Daisy . I suppose you can sub divide society into many groups regarding their driving.
There can be no right and no wrong as long as when we drive we use consideration for the other road users, we drive not only to the cars capability but our ability .
Unfortunately as has been stated previously some of this is jealousy some of it is down right ignorance, we are all different.
So when you are next out for a HOON just remember the person in front of you doesn't know your ability to drive your car as well as you THINK you do. Drive safe.

Do many of you also get the "I saw you posing last night' comments from people who know/barely know you? That really winds me up! Just because you have the roof down, you must be doing it to show off! :headbang:

Thats a jealousy thing.

The roof comes off on your car. Therefore, if it's a nice day, why wouldn't you have the roof down. That's what it's there for!! If people think I'm posing and showing off then that's their issue.
