Do many of you also get the "I saw you posing last night' comments from people who know/barely know you? That really winds me up! Just because you have the roof down, you must be doing it to show off!

They are the coupe drivers

Thats a jealousy thing.

The roof comes off on your car. Therefore, if it's a nice day, why wouldn't you have the roof down. That's what it's there for!! If people think I'm posing and showing off then that's their issue.

And the reason I have my music blaring out is because I like the neighbours who didn't see me to know I have arrived

I once overtook a silly old bird doing 20mph in a 60mph limit. Bare in mind I was in a 1.0 focus and the overtake took a couple of seconds with no other traffic around.

Carried on my way for a few miles doing the speed limit and she came flying up behind me flashing and tooting. When I got into a residential area I pulled up and asked what her issue was.

Her problem? Apparently I was speeding in a 30 zone (no, it's clearly signposted as n NSL country lane) and that I could've killed her, her mother and her kid :lol:

I then asked how she managed to catch me up without speeding in this so called 30 zone? Her response: f off, i'm reporting you to the police :lol:

Did make me laugh. What made me laugh more is I received a letter from the Police saying she had reported me and they clearly hadn't bothered to research the road as they even said it was a 30 on the letter! And they wonder why Police get a bad name?

The National meets a great way to pit yourself against the big boys. I can stick with it on the bend its just the straights.
I
