Oh - and i'd LOVE a Burberry trench coat, was planning on buying one later this year. Making a reasonably basic assumption of how much the average zed owner earns based on the price of the car, you'll probably find most current Zed owners probably don't spend £800-1200 on a coat. :poke:

I have two of them, one is limited edition with leather sleeves

Great coats and last forever

Glad to hear it. I invested in a leather Burberry Trench recently. Glad It'll see me through for many years.

Okay fashion talk over, back to the debate

Well, I've decided I'm going to love ALL of you. Even Taco and Marius. Join me.

Amen brother. Let's have a sing song

Sorry, but you're on your own with Marius.

I actually sold something to him and he was a pleasure to deal with. I dunno. The Internet does seem to make supposedly mature adults behave very strangely at times.

There is alot of snobbery going on in this thread.

How much have z4s dropped in price in the past 12 months?
I don't think it's much though.

Amen to that.

I don't find any 'hostility' to be prevalent but some people seem to think they are always right no matter what and go into a hissy fit when others gently point out their mistakes.

Apart from that, no probs! :D

The comments on price did come across very much as now they are cheap only chavs buy them, I appreciate it wasn't meant to be like that. Personally I bought my z as I wanted a car that I didn't have to change much. I have another car for that to take up my cash ... I probably would have had a z years ago if it wasn't for that car :)

I think I've stopped posting as much. I felt like when I did I was ignored, breaking into the cliques is difficult when you can't get to meets etc. I don't think the forum is more hostile I just feel like I don't fit in somehow. It's hard to put a finger on it. De-gingering is one topics I guess. So I have orange bits... Oh well... It doesn't make the car worse. Or I've not changed to a stubbie, lowered it (I have enough trouble with bumps and curbs etc) etc. ill refere to my other comment about wasting money on another car....

Ill post when I can ... My new job stops me abut these days and I've been trying to get to grips with my other car as I research an engine transplant.

In the past couple of years, z4s haven't dropped especially. I know this ... Because I've bought two over the past couple of years. And have had my eye on prices for more years than that. Big example ... 2010/2011 I was fixated on Ms. Auto trader watching and dreaming at uni. Regularly saw them for around 18k tops .... Only being around 4 years old with under 20k miles. I bought one recently, can't say the price was a spit away yet 6-7 years old and 40k miles. That's my view on the price point. Sure, 5-6 years ago yes the zeds were much more expensive back then. And even so, just how many chavs and their dogs go into merc and Audi and get bling wheels on finance - doesn't mean anything.

More importantly .... Why is this thread still going on? It is getting a bit embarrassing as people are just bickering again. If I'd just joined this forum I'd be thinking again.
