iPad retina fantastic

It's jus the size Mike. I had both and only kept my 4 because I now have a Note, but if I had to rely on one, it would be the Mini. You will not notice the Retina Display difference, unless up to the screen really close. I never noticed big changes from the 2 to the 3, and not that I have used the Mini, it's perfect for web browsing, music playing and emails etc and you can take it everywhere easily.

Love my 4, but if I only had the choice of two, it would be the Mini
The mini is fantastic. Only reason I ended up buying the full sized one was I had no intention of it leaving the house so size wasn't an issue for me. (That doesn't sound right does it!!)

Hmm I see cheers for the info. I might have to go and fondle a Mini

I have been fondling Mrs B's Mini, and I love it. Weird, but it doesn't 'feel' much smaller, however it is a lot lighter.

As for retina, hmmm. If you only notice the difference up close then that makes no odds for me - my focal length is about 6 inches and lengthening nowadays. Getting old

The people that know what they are buying wont tho lol
But like I said, they either wont be buying until retina is available, or they will buy as they're Apple nuts and need the latest - with a view to upgrade in 2013.

Either way Apple wins

When you put the retina alongside a non-retina and enlarge an image the non-retina pixilates very quickly. The retina doesn't!
