iPad retina fantastic

The Retina display will be here for the mini soon. Call me a syndic but I assume Apple have brought out a none retina model to be able to generate renewed interest next spring with a new model.

You think? I'm shocked :o

That would like be bringing out an iPad 3 early, then refitting it with a CPU that could actually drive the Retina Display and calling it an iPad 4. Who would think such a thing :?

Oh, hang on, they updated the front camera too, all is good. Stand down the posse
 
Just bought case for it as the kids are grappling over it all the time. Bought a clear protective screen cover as well :o omg what a nightmare with bubbles still got half a dozen small ones even using the credit card. :(

Not so sure. Will still sell like Mr Kipling Hot Cakes and Apple will make even more money when retina mini [inevitably] released next year when people buy/early adopters upgrade. Big secondhand market for all these 'old' devices as hand-me-down to kids.
 
Mini ipad is selling really well, and It makes more sense. You have to use both to realise the mini is actually better. Remember the retina display and lack of pixel count is only really visible when you hold it close to your eyes......the mini is a grea piece of kit.

Regret selling mine now....
 
Stark, why do you think the Mini is better? I have an iPad 1 and it's getting a bit slow these days. I bought an iPad 4 the other day but I haven't opened it yet, so I can still take it back if I want to. A couple of friends have the 4 so I know what it's like.

Viewing some of your submitted pictures Tom on the retina is fantastic. Colours truly brilliant
 
It's jus the size Mike. I had both and only kept my 4 because I now have a Note, but if I had to rely on one, it would be the Mini. You will not notice the Retina Display difference, unless up to the screen really close. I never noticed big changes from the 2 to the 3, and not that I have used the Mini, it's perfect for web browsing, music playing and emails etc and you can take it everywhere easily.

Love my 4, but if I only had the choice of two, it would be the Mini
 
Mike, buy one from Apple, use it and then take it back. You'll get our money back on it, just be sure to return it in perfect condition. Or buy from the airport and you have 60 days playtime
