i read at the weekend that apple sell an ipad every 3 seconds ! useful or not the numbers speak for themselves.

I can honestly say I have seen no more than two in public since they were launched.

Paul, you do realise you can do all of that on a laptop

I had a hp T2000 tablet. Was really good until the screen inexpicably smashed in the middle of the night!

I've got a laptop mate, but always use the iPad.

If I couldn't afford a new toy my laptop would be jut fine.

Plus now I have not turned my MacBook on yet!

Photobucket app is great,

Was at a wedding in aberdeenshire last month and took loads of candid photos of guest in morning before and up to and during wedding, I was able to upload them to iPad and pass it round bus on way to reception, easier than a bulky laptop or notebook
Plus it's just so easy to use. The 80 yr old granny was pinching to zoom etc within minutes, just so intuitive.

Flikr works well on the iPad also.
