By the way, viewings all rearranged so, barring horribly inclement weather, I shall be attending the PVR house party

I've posted the details on all the social media outlets so we should have loads turning up for the rave in Paul's garage

You know where to go to then? :poke:

Pah, radio is for the defeated!

Know what you mean though just had a wet sand on a skirt scratch today, so much better - but now noticed another mark that I cannot believe was put there by a rotary, yet had. to seen before as the larger mark caught my eye - actually questioning my own sanity, so any thoughts tomorrow greatly received.

There are only 3 major sources of rattle.

1) The standard Z one between the seats from the plastic above the cubby hole, which is getting removed as part of the intravee install! I have adhesive felt ready for this.

2) Something near / in the glovebox / footwell area that clunks a plastic on plastic noise. Cannot locate whist driving & my wife can't hear it / more likely doesn't want to!

3) The satan of all noises that is there 90% of the time from the centre of the dash; such a fun noise I cannot believe it cannot be located....

Of course, you sent me a PM with your address :drinking: :yu:

Random question - how long did it take for the Harvey to kick in? Just measured the new outside tap which is reading 155, the "old" tap is 170. Seems rather high at the moment … (I was promised about 4).

I don't need no address - the car knows the way :o

Which mini?

Regarding the Harvey, I have a cheaper kinetico unit & house comes our at 230ppm which does make me worry slightly -have only had a TDS meter for the last few weeks & previously relied in the tablets to determine soft water; perhaps I'm expecting too much but this seems high post softener?

Use a resin filer for the car, but this now has me wondering if the filter is installed properly!

As I just paid £1700 for the system, it better improve otherwise they can have it back as they guarantee satisfaction.

I would hope so too - need to test mine on raw waste now. As convinced I've spent time with poor performance from a a softening perspective; felt better bit TDS might rove interesting.

See you gents in the morning

Matt

And a whole lot of useless off-topic shite! I've a strong mind to tell the OP to delete the thread for the sake of everyone else on the forum apart from the handful of people involved in this ramble.

But then I saw who the OP was... :x

IIRC it took a few days before we felt the difference in the water - but I suppose that depends on how much water passes through it. I've never bothered measuring ours properly, just tried the tablets once or twice, but we've had it about 16 months now and get no limescale on sinks/taps/shower glass so I know it's working well enough for us.

We'll get him to change the original title
